April is Safe Digging Month
Know what’s below—Click or Call Before You Dig
April is Dig Safe Month, a national reminder that any ground disturbance—big or small—can pose serious risks if you don’t first identify what’s underground. From pipelines and gas lines to telecommunications and water mains, Canada’s underground infrastructure is vital—and vulnerable.
At the Canadian Underground Infrastructure Innovation Centre (CUIIC), safety is at the heart of our mission. That’s why CUIIC and its Members are proud to recognize Dig Safe Month and the ongoing efforts of our Safety Subcommittee, whose work helps shape training, policy awareness, and damage prevention education across the industry.
